We designed this 8-panel gate-fold mailer to announce the exhibit for Tattoo Nation by Eric Schwartz at the Fulginiti Pavilion for Bioethics and Humanities University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
Eric Schwartz’s photographs focus on a style of tattoo artistry – “black and grey” – that initially flourished amidst the Chicano pachuco gang culture of Texas and Arizona and migrated to the barrios and prisons of California during the 1940’s, ‘50’s and ‘60’s.
